What do you do when the heat is too much to take in? You go to the beach, of course. You just want to take a swim, play along with the waves, and feel the breeze of the beach. The black sand is caused by basalt lava flow that cooled down. It is a good spot for lounging for both people and sea creatures like turtles. What makes it even more amazing is that the shells of the beach came from a single type of shell species. The beach itself stretches around 60 kilometers.

How come this beach has glass on its shore? Well, that area used to be a dumpsite back in the days. Years later, it was closed down. All the metals and non-glass and non-plastic junk were removed from the beach. Then for the next decades, the waves kept grinding and pounding on the remains. Eventually, the remains became smooth colorful stones that look like jewels on the beach. Thousands of visitors visit yearly just to take a glimpse of this beach.
